Become a UKIP Member

Some of you have not yet taken the step of joining us. While we treasure everyone who supports UKIP, our real strength relies on our members, without whom there would be no UKIP.

If you want to do something to help UKIP succeed in its agenda, the best thing you can do is join us. This helps us financially of course (£30 standard membership, £15 under 22yrs, £20 Forces) but it helps us build political strength at both national and local levels. You can be an inactive member or an active one who attends branch meetings and have your voice heard.

You can either join online or if you prefer download this form, complete it and post to the national UKIP address provided. You will be assigned to this branch if your postcode is within our Parliamentary boundaries and we will contact you once notified.

We try to make our meetings informative, not too tedious and most of all social. Whether you want to become active in the party is a personal decision, you will not be pressurised or made to feel uncomfortable.

Stand as a local UKIP candidate

We are always in need of people who are willing to bring UKIP values into local decision-making, cutting through the red tape and waste that is all too prevalent nowadays. UKIP is fielding as many candidates as we can in the upcoming local council elections.

This means that as a branch we will be very busy with the campaign. It has been proven that people are more likely to vote in a General Election for candidates of parties who also stand in local elections. If you would consider standing as a candidate in Local Government Elections please see this page for full details.

You can view who is standing in Cambridge and East Cambridgeshire and where we have vacancies.

Come to our Branch Meetings

We try to make our meetings informative, not too tedious and most of all social. Whether you want to become active in the party is a personal decision, you will not be pressurised to do anything. Being a member is enough for us! For when and where, all meetings and action days, see our list of events.

If you have any other ideas that you feel we could benefit from, do not hesitate to contact us.

We welcome your comments and feedback on how we are doing, and members, remember - this is your website and if you tell us what you would like to see on it we will try to provide it.
